I vowed not to be a hacker like my computer programmer husband. But after learning several graphic programs, I was hooked. This cat was first created on my drawing board using a 0.30 technical pen. I scanned the image with the Apple Scanner (saved at 300 dpi). I “cleaned up” the image in SuperPaint 2.0 and used the image as a template in Adobe Illustrator 88. For special effects, I experimented with Illustrator’s shading options.
